From Hot Mess to Harold!

Improv can be messy and its possibilities, endless. If you're looking for just a little structure, The Harold is one of improv's best known guides for a successful long-form show. It is fun and rewarding for players, easily enjoyed by audiences, and The Reckoning has been putting up memorable Harolds for over 17 years.

Jake Schneider is a member of improv juggernaut, The Reckoning which plays monthly in Los Angeles. Jake has performed and taught improv around the country with iO Chicago and Improvised Shakespeare Company. He has traveled with Second City Theatricals, created original musical comedies with The Annoyance, produced shows at The Playground Theater, and helped a Comedy Sports franchise return to St Louis in 2017. And he has studied comedia del arte at the Award Winning Actors Gang.

He will be leading an enthusiastic intensive to help players rediscover what Harold can bring to what their ensembles and performances already do well. This workshop is great for teams and individuals looking to deepen their appreciation for Harold. At the end of this workshop, students will feel confident in each other and their ability to rock out a hot, fun Harold!
