Feminist Improv Jam W/ Ms. Andry

Feminist Improv Jam W/ Ms. Andry

0.00

Did you know that men still vastly outnumber women in comedy and improv? Did you know that people are STILL debating whether or not ladies are capable of being funny?

Ms. Andry is a four-woman improv group in Denver, CO dedicated to letting female voices be heard, on-stage and off. We don’t really hate men—we just think it’s pretty funny that feminism STILL means man-hating to so many people.

We embrace and promote intersectional feminism. Currently hosting a monthly Feminist Jam at Grafenberg Productions, we donate our proceeds to local non-profit organizations that serve women, including women of color and LGBTQ folx. We welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people to participate in our monthly jam.

Our mission is to create a safe space where we can shake off outdated gender roles and stereotypes in order to dig a little deeper and build up the community of female improvisors. Our “weapons” are inclusion, honesty, empathy, laughter and satire.

So set your bras aflame and head on down to our monthly jam, you humorless shrews!
